“Sea Defenders-2024”: USCG Ship Bertholf departs from Port Blair post joint exercise with ICG

Port Blair, Mar 10 (ANI): Joint exercise “Sea Defenders-2024” marked a significant step in bolstering bilateral cooperation between India and US. The USCG Ship Bertholf had reached Port Blair on March 7 for a joint exercise with the Indian Coast Guard. After two days, US Coast Guard Cutter, Bertholf departed from Port Blair. On the occasion, an adieu ceremony for the ship was organised at the jetty. ICG-USCG joint exercise was conducted off Port Blair with a demonstration of Visit Board Search & Seizure and Cross Boarding Ops. USCG Bertholf has started heading to the next port of call with ICG Ship Vishwast as an escort ship till International Maritime Boundary Line.
