RJP-N withdraws support to government, informs parliament

Kathmandu (Nepal), Mar 11 (ANI): Disgruntled Madhesh-based Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal informed the House of Representative that it is no longer supporting the government which is under the leadership of KP Sharma Oli. MP’s of the RJP-N stood on their seats as a gesture of protest demanding time, after which House Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara allocated time for RJP-N leader Mahedra Raya Yadav to speak. The RJP-N had made the announcement of their withdrawal earlier this month. The disgruntled party blamed the government for not addressing their demand of constitution amendment, despite having the clear majority of two-third in the parliament.
