Boston (US), Feb 17 (ANI): Reliance Foundation Chairperson delivered Keynote address at prestigious Harvard India Conference 2025. During the keynote address she shared the inside story of cricket entered her life and Mumbai Indians came into existence. Nita Ambani said, “Cricket entered my life at the age of 44, when most sports people retire from sports. Mukesh Ambani had bought this team Mumbai Indians and it had all the big players in the table and yet we were at the bottom of the table. They were playing in South Africa and I went there to motivate them. So I landed in cape town and decided to sit in the dugout with all the players and next to me was Sachin Tendulkar and other side was Zaheer Khan. And then I asked why one baller is taking a long run up and the other is taking a short run up. Then, Sachin said that one is a pacer and other is a spinner. But today, I can show off and I know a leg spin, off spin, googly and now I know where the ball is going to hit and what is batsman going to do with that. And that’s what cricket has done to me, it has brought this extreme love for sports in my life.”
