J&K Terror Attacks | HM Amit Shah chairs high-level meeting to review prevailing situations in UT

New Delhi, June 16 (ANI): Security forces are on high alert as J&K has faced multiple terror attacks in the past few days. A massive manhunt is on in parts of J&K in response to attacks in the parts of Jammu region. Equipped with high-end weapons, Indian soldiers are on sharp vigilance to hunt down terrorists in Doda. Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah on June 16 held a high-level meeting in Delhi and took cognizance of recent terror attacks. Senior security forces officials, NSA Doval, JK LG Sinha, Army Chief Manoj Pande, and others attended meeting. He reviewed the prevailing situations in the UT as PM Modi on June 13 had ordered the deployment of full counter-terror capabilities. Preparedness for Amarnath Yatra was also discussed at the meeting ahead of its commencement on June 29. Notably, J&K witnessed a series of terror attacks in Kathua & Doda after militants opened fire at a pilgrimage bus in Reasi on June 09. J&K Police have released sketches of 4 terrorists in connection with the Doda encounter, and 1 with Reasi ambush attack.
