Delhi police busted fake Indian currency note racket

New Delhi, 27 December (ANI): Special Cell of Delhi Police busted a network of fake Indian currency note by arresting 5 accused. For the past few months, special cell of Delhi Police received information through reliable sources of a racket which is involved in the printing and circulation of the fake Indian currency note in North-East district of Delhi. On this information, special cell launched a deep deployment operation. Soon, it emerged that this racket of FICN is being operated by some youth, who have been working under the direction of a person who is setup this network in Delhi. To develop the emerging contours of this highly secretive racket, seasoned sources were deployed and intensive surveillance was also mounted. The efforts yielded result and Delhi police received specific information that a delivery of FICN would take place at a location in Laxmi Nagar, Delhi. Police laid a trap in that area and apprehended three persons, who included suppliers & receiver of FICN. During further investigation, at the instance of accused, two more accused were arrested by Delhi police. Approx a total FICN of Rs. 3 lakh was recovered from the arrested persons.
